Why yes I do lead a quiet, monastic life of solitude, contemplation, and self-sacrifice. Why do you ask?

Freaks in my Life
I grew up in Central NY. Very rural. Think pig farms, corn fields, and cow barns. Pre internet days; so if it wasn’t in the library and your friends didn’t know about it, then it didn’t exist. A fairly conservative upbringing. All within reason of course. My parents were either Continue Reading
Take 3
This is one of those sets of images I come back to every so often, when I’ve learned new things. I try new things, see if I’m any better than I was, with my tools. Yeah I like this much better. But she was still pretty awesome to begin with.

Sunday Photoshoot
Did a photoshoot on Sunday with Daria. Probably won’t release much from it until her project is done, though.

New window
Replaced a window in the basement this weekend. Dug through the windows at Community Forklift until we found something about the right size. Brought it home, and removed all the old materials. Had to remove a bit of framing, (Gawd Bless Sawzalls), but it then fit nicely, and looks better Continue Reading

New Year
It’s a new year. You can be anything you want. You can do anything you want. You have nothing to lose. And everything to gain. Clayton Cubitt
In the Attic
We knew when we bought the house that the attic was in less than ideal condition. But we hadn’t been up there since closing on the house. Since then, there’s been a hurricane, and earthquake, and numerous rambunctious cats; all shaking up the house. So about a week ago, when we went Continue Reading
